What was your wedding date:
Thursday 1st June 2023 we picked this date as it was 2 years from our engagement.
Why did you chose Moonacre as your wedding venue?
I ( Sinti) come from Latvia, growing up I was use to being outdoors and out in the forest , I wanted our wedding to feel wild and free Moonacre was the perfect setting, it has a beautiful woodland isle , a large and very green outdoor space and was perfect for the vision I had.
We wanted to create a modern but rustic feel for our guests and this was a venue that offered just that.

What was your highlight of the day?
The Ceremony.
It was simply perfect, we decorated it with a wildflower feel, plenty of colour amongst the greenery and trees, it truly felt like a fairy tail.
What style catering did you choose and why?
Family Style cooked on Wood Fire to go with the outdoor, nature theme. We wanted to bring our guests together , having to share the side dishes was a perfect way to have our guests interact. We also had a pizza van at the end of night to sober our gusts up so we could carry on going in to the early hours of the morning.

Words of Advice?
Keep it simple, it’s easy to get carried away with the Pinterest vision boards but at the end of the day doing the things that represent you as a couple are the details that your guests will take away.
.... you also don’t need wedding favours !!! Most guests get too drunk to remember them ;)

We had the most special day, this would not have been possible without the staff at the venue.
