Why did you chose Moonacre as your venue?
Originally we booked back in 2019 when the site was still called Partyfield, Covid happened and then we were in contact with Moonacre once it was all taken over :)
We fell in LOVE with Moonacre, we always wanted an outdoor wedding which was laid back and relaxed and a blank canvas that we could decorate and put our own stamp on. #moonacre
What are your three favourite things about Moonacre? #topthree
1: The woodland wedding platform! LOVEEEE. The outdoor nature of the venue I am in love with! #outdoorwedding
2: Beautiful grounds and quirky accommodation
3: The marquee is stunning!
What was your highlight of your day?
How can I choose one moment??
With 4 cancelled dates I was just overwhelmed the day was here! - apart from finally getting married, it HAS to be the Foundations moment on stage with the DJ ! Haha what a moment! #weddinghighlights
What style of catering did you choose and why?
We went for a laid back bbq and salads served to the tables during the day and hot dogs in the evening.
We wanted it to reflect who we were as people. We love hosting BBQs with friends and family so this was perfect and we supported local business too (shout out to the salt pig)!

Who was your Wedding Photographer?
Madeleine Jones Photography - absolutely wonderful photographer!
What entertainment did you have?
During the day we had the most beautiful acoustic band - the coasters who were absolutely INCREDIBLE 💛 I used to sing with Hayley when we were younger so it was so special to have them there! She also sang at the ceremony. The Coasters: https://www.thecoastersband.co.uk #weddingsingers #weddingband
We had a DJ in the evening who were amazing at getting people up dancing and having fun!
Is there anything that you’d change?
Remember to breathe and take it all in! Don’t get so ridiculously drunk (lol) #weddingadvice
What advice would you give future couples?
Ask all the questions! But also enjoy it and don’t get too stressed! Moonacre are there to help, Hayley and Dominic are so amazing!
If they can be calm with me they can be calm with anyone!
Anything extra you’d like to add for our future couples?
Choose Moonacre for the most perfect day! I wish I could do mine all over again!
Get sunset photos too, they are stunning!
Last words of advice?
Make sure your day is about you both, you are celebrating your love so you do you!
