A mid spring wedding for Amber and Matt who knew they wanted an outdoor wedding, surrounded by nature and wildlife which is why it was love at first sight when they saw us!

Why did you chose Moonacre as your venue?
Moonacre was the first and only venue we visited! Being big lovers of wildlife, we knew for sure that we wanted an outdoor wedding venue. When we viewed Moonacre in January 2022 it was a grey, rainy day and it took a little imagination to picture how beautiful it would be come the spring months!
We got a great vibe from Hayley and the team, and no amount of questions was too much! We booked straight away, as it was great value, and loved that the marquee, on-site accommodation and facilities were all included - which was so unique! We also booked an additional day for set-up of the venue, which was a great added bonus. The day itself was PERFECT and the team were so incredible.
What are your three favourite things about Moonacre?
The laidback vibe, the gorgeous grounds and how helpful the team were!
What was your highlight of the day?
It’s so hard to pick a moment, as it was all so incredible! I’d have to say, arriving at the venue, seeing the venue all decorated, and all of our family and friends with Matt waiting for me to walk down the aisle! The buzz I got from that feeling was amazing!
What style catering did you choose and why?
We had vegan hot dogs & burgers provided by Mighty Wieners and pizza provided by Pizza With Love! We felt a laid back catering style suited us and the venue well!

What entertainment did you have?
We had a band and DJ. Both of which were fantastic!
Is there anything that you’d change?
Absolutely nothing - the whole day was stunning from start to finish!
What advice would you give future couples?
If you want a laid back, beautiful outdoor wedding set in stunning woodland grounds, this is the place for you! If you’re decorating the venue yourself, I’d highly recommend booking an additional day before the wedding so you can get the most out of your big day, because it goes by so quickly!
Anything extra you’d like to add?
We can’t thank Moonacre enough for all of their help. Everything ran so smoothly from start to finish and we will always look back on our wedding with such love and incredible memories!
Still can’t get over our wedding photos and it makes me a bit weepy thinking about how perfect our day was! 🥹
